The research of the groups of the Zurich Center for Structural Biology is directed towards the elucidation of structure – function relationships of membrane proteins and supramolecular assemblies.
Two technology platforms have been established with the funding of the NCCR Structural Biology which now regularly provide services to a wide range of national and international customers in academia and industry.
The achievements of the former NCCR are summarized here.
