Focus

This symposium series provides a yearly update on current structural biology themes and newest developments in the field. Renowned structural biology scientists from all over the world exchange their knowledge and current research ideas in an interactive way. The format of the symposium includes plenary lectures by invited guest scientists, discussions and poster presentations by NCCR scientists.

The Irchel Campus of the University of Zurich is located 15 minutes from the city center in park-like environment. This attractive setting, and a conference size of about 300 participants facilitate formal and informal discussions between scientists from both academia and industry that share the interest in structural biology.

Programme

Start. The symposium starts September 1, 2011 at 10:00 with a welcome note and the first lecture. Welcome coffee, initial poster viewing and registration start at 9:00.

Participants

The maximum number of participants will be 400. Participants will be chosen according to the order of registration.


Presentations

The plenary lectures will be held exclusively by invited speakers.

All NCCR Project leaders will be contacted soon with further information regarding NCCR Poster Presentations.

We will be able to accept a small number of guest poster presentations. Guests should apply for a slot by submitting an abstract by email before May 31, 2011.
